Greenville, MS—Keion Diggins pled guilty Monday afternoon in Washington County Circuit Court to three (3) charges of Armed Robbery, District Attorney W. Dewayne Richardson announced today.

With all three cases set for trial before Judge Carol White-Richard this week, Diggins instead chose to plead guilty to the charges brought against him.

The cases against Diggins stem from three armed robberies of two separate Double Quick stores in Greenville between December 2017 and January 2018 wherein Diggins brandished a firearm and stole merchandise and money from the stores.

Detectives with the Greenville Police Department reviewed the surveillance footage from the Double Quick stores and executed a search warrant on Diggins’ residence, recovering the firearm and other evidence tying Diggins to the crimes.

The cases against Diggins were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney M. Austin Frye, who expressed his gratitude to the Officers and Investigators of the Greenville Police Department: “The law enforcement officers of our community work tirelessly to maintain the safety and integrity of our city for citizens and businesses alike. Those individuals who threaten that safety will be brought to justice. As prosecutors and citizens of Greenville, we are grateful for the work of the Greenville Police Department.”
