Markeda Brown | Victim Assistant Coordinator
Markeda Brown is a native of Greenville, Mississippi, and serves as a Victim Assistance Coordinator in the Fourth Circuit Court District Attorney’s Office in Washington County. She attended Alcorn State University (Lorman, MS) and Mississippi Valley State University (Itta Bena, MS), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work degree. Markeda has over fifteen years of experience working with socio-economically disadvantaged families and opportunity youth. She also has several years of Disaster Case Management experience.
Markeda is the mother of two daughters, Jordan and Jada. She is a lifelong member of Greater St. Matthew AME Church, where she is a former Director of the Youth People and Children’s Division (YPD). She continues to serve her church through the Missionary Society and Lay Organization. Markeda is also an active member of the Greenville, Mississippi Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
