Tamika Crawford is a lifelong resident of Sunflower County. Tamika formerly worked as a deputy clerk both for the Indianola Police Department and the City of Indianola.

She is a very active member of her community and the Church community. She is a proud mother of three girls. The eldest is a graduate of the Mississippi University for Women.

Her middle child is a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University and the youngest is a student at Lockard Elementary School.
