Greenville, MS—Willie Frank Roscoe, 40, of Indianola, MS, pled guilty to Aggravated Domestic Assault, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, District Attorney Dewayne Richardson announced today.
On the morning of October 24, 2021, Roscoe fired multiple shots into an occupied vehicle at the intersection of Highway 1 and Broadway Extended in Greenville. One of the occupants, who was shot in the back but survived the shooting, identified Roscoe as the gunman.
On April 15, 2024, Roscoe pled guilty and was sentenced to 15 years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections with 9 of those years to serve. Roscoe pled guilty to all charges against him and received concurrent sentences for those convictions.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Laura K. Cooper and Austin Frye.
